We have become strong proponents of thin client solutions using Microsoft’s Terminal Services, Citrix Metaframe, Blackberry and in some cases PC Anywhere.

The beneficiaries of this solution are those mobile clients that constantly need access to their email and documents whenever they are on the road or even at home.

The Microsoft Terminal Server solution allows one to work like they are right in front of their office PC, but from anywhere in the world and at quick speeds that don’t let you fall asleep between screen changes.

The Citrix Metaframe component allows one to exchange data from their remote connection to the server at HQ. The Blackberry solution allows one to send and receive email on a wireless pocket size device.

These solutions blur the line between being in or out of the office. Though some may argue that work should be left at the office, we believe that it provides a new freedom of being able to do work without having to be at the office.
